I strategically utilized white spaces to enhance the overall aesthetic and create a clean, refined user experience.
The primary target audience consisted of older individuals, as well as those in need of clothing repairs or custom tailoring.
I primarly used 2 colors for the website: Burgundy and Pale Silver.
To avoid overwhelming the user, I focused on a minimal color palette. I selected these two deeper tones to ensure optimal visibility and contrast, enhancing the overall user experience while maintaining a clean and sophisticated aesthetic.
This was my first time working on this particular design, and I relished the challenge of stepping away from my usual style, which tends to be round and modern. Instead, I created a more elegant and premium aesthetic, ensuring that it appeals to a wide range of users while maintaining sophistication and timeless appeal.
My design process began with a thought analysis of competitor websites to understand industry standards and trends. However, I chose not to conduct a direct benchmark for this particular website due to its inherent simplicity.
I then proceeded to create a wireframe with a clear, logical structure to ensure seamless user navigation.
While the design initially presented some challenges, I quickly adapted and refined it, ultimately creating both the design and its responsive version to ensure a polished and user-friendly experience across all devices.
